How to log into MyMinfin?

MyMinfin is the online platform of the FPS Finance. To get access to it, please use a secured identification means: your identity card or itsme®.
  • No matter how you contact us, we will always answer your questions in one of the three national languages (Dutch, French or German) and not in English

  • To log into your account on myminfin.be please use your electronic identity card (eID card) or itsme®.

  • This is the first time you log via your eID card or via itsme®?

    eID Card

    First download the eID software onto your computer.

    You will need:

    • your eID card
    • The PIN code of your eID card
    • and an eID card reader

    You are using Firefox? Install and activate the eID add-on.

    itsme®

    First download the itsme® application on your smartphone and activate your itsme® account.

    You will need your bank card or eID card.

  • Did you know that you can give a mandate to someone you know (family member, friend etc.) or an accountant in order to carry out procedures via MyMinfin on your behalf?

  • How to log into MyMinfin as a non-resident?

    You are a Belgian citizen and live abroad? Or you are a foreign citizen and have income in Belgium? To log into MyMinfin, you need a secured digital key that depends on your nationality.

    • I am a Belgian citizen and have a Belgian eID card.

      Use your eID card or itsme® application.

    • I am a Belgian citizen but I no longer have a Belgian eID card.

    • I have a means of electronic identification recognized at European level (eIDAS). E.g.: electronic identity card.

      You can check whether your electronic means of identification is recognized at European level (eIDAS) with the following procedure: 

      • When logging into MyMinfin, choose "LOG IN with an electronic identification means recognized at European level”
      • This gives you access to the updated list of countries that have an electronic means of identification recognized at European level.
      • Choose next the country that issued your electronic means of identification in order to check whether your means of identification is recognized.
    • I do not have a Belgian means of identification or one recognized at European level (eIDAS) but I live in/can travel to Belgium.

      Make an appointment with your local nearest registration office or with the FPS BOSA, so that your identity can be checked on the basis of your identity card or passport..

      You must have a personal e-mail address in order to activate the digital key “security code sent by e-mail”.

    • I don't have a Belgian means of identification or one recognized at European level (eIDAS) and I don't live in/can't travel to Belgium.

      Enter a "ForReg“ application in order to be able to get access to MyMinfin via the numeric key “username and password”.

  • CSAM (the federal authentication system) exclusively ensures that all those digital keys are put at disposal. You can manage your digital keys via the CSAM website.
